In response to your feedback, we have created an all-new event called ACEN Immersive Experience - Nursing Education Excellence through Accreditation. This unique offering will focus on providing a critical analysis of the ACEN Standards and Criteria and their relationship to nursing education excellence. This three-day event will be hosted in-person only in the ACEN’s hometown of Atlanta, Georgia, at the Loews Atlanta Hotel, on July 24-26, 2024. The program is designed for nurse administrators, faculty, and staff of ACEN-accredited programs, or Candidate programs, as well as anyone considering ACEN accreditation.

Different from a Self-Study Forum, the attention of the Immersive Experience will shift from telling the story of your program for the purpose of demonstrating compliance in your Self-Study Report to understanding each ACEN Standard and Criteria beyond the surface for programmatic improvement. This event will offer you hands-on engagement in developing strategies to ensure compliance with the ACEN Accreditation Standards and best practices in assessment and evaluation for the betterment of your nursing education program. Topics of discussion include program outcomes, curriculum mapping, ACEN policies and procedures, and much more.

The Expert Library and Knowledge Café will return from our previous annual events to provide you with multiple opportunities to ask the ACEN Directors questions one-on-one and review examples of ACEN reports. You can also look forward to stimulating pre-sessions, breakouts, expert panels, and networking opportunities that will empower you to make positive changes in your nursing education program all while earning continuing nursing education units.

We hope you will join us this summer for an opportunity for professional development and growth in your nursing education program!
