ACEN Regional Workshops are educational offerings on specific topics related to maintaining ACEN Accreditation. Nurse educators of all program types are invited to attend. The workshops cover important aspects like curriculum development, program assessment, and accreditation preparation for nursing programs.
Each workshop targets specific states or countries, allowing for regionally-focused discussions and attendance. Participation is in-person only.
The Self-Study Forum is a two-day event that prepares attendees for the peer-review process with a focus on demonstrating compliance with the ACEN Standards and Criteria.
The Spring 2025 Self-Study Forum will be the only in-person forum offered in 2025.The forum will also be delivered virtually through livestream with on-demand playback of the recorded sessions.
The Program Administrators Workshop is designed and developed specifically for program administrators, faculty, coordinators, and other positions that have administrative responsibilities for the nursing program and/or nursing education unit. Workshop topics include roles/responsibilities for program leaders, themes from the ACEN 2023 Standards and Criteria, integration of ACEN policies, and maintenance of ACEN accreditation.
